So, I bought this monitor today and tried to connect it to my mac pro early 2008, but a problem occured. It seems that mac os x does not want to set it's native resolution(2560x1080) and maximum i have is 1920x1080 strerched. I've already tried switchresx and plist editing(though i couldn't find the plist I needed) and nothing works. Any help here?

How are you connecting it? If DVI, be sure to use a DUAL-LINK DVI cable. You can't always tell by looking t the connectors. Many single-link DVI cables use dual-link connectors.

I might have found a solution, but I have to wait till an active mDP to HDMI adapter I purchased via Amazon arrives. I hope we all eventually get these awesome monitors to work!
