Q: Iphone 5s frequent crash, restart issue, sound not working

My iPhone 5S is having a lot of issues after IOS 8.4 and 8.4.1 update, hanging on the white Apple logo screen and occasionally boots a blue screen (of death) and then right back to the white Apple logo screen. have to make multiple attempts for restart and then once it reboots, i see a lot in the crash report. Anyone have any suggestions?
