Number keys not working on wireless keyboard.

I have a wireless Japanese keyboard like the one below. I'm operating on the latest version (10.10.5). Today the number keys stopped working. To my knowledge I didn't damage the keyboard in any way. So far I've tried:

-checking that mouse keys were disabled (they were)

-changing batteries

-turning on / off the keyboard

-turning on / off the bluetooth connection to the keyboard

-every shortcut I could think of with the command, option, shift, control, & function keys including all the F keys, delete, & eject

-adding / changing languages

-starting in single operator mode & safe mode

-logging in with a different account

-checking the slow key mode

Also, when I hold the fn key and press 5 6 in sequence it spaces. fn and 4 5 the ¥ comes up. 0 as well as everything right of 0 still working.

I've brought up the KEYBOARD VIEWER so that I'm able to type numbers and the shift symbols on them but I've tried everything I could find online so far. Any new thoughts?

Same thing happened to me on Friday, 8/28. I can only type the number zero, no others. I had just run most recent OS update & I'm suspicious that is the cause. Everything works fine when I plug in our old wired keyboard from our Microsoft computer. Going to hold out and watch these message boards for another solution before I go drop 100$ on another MAC wireless keyboard that will only last 2 years, like this one. If I come across a solution, I'll post it here.
