iPhone 6 iBooks Black Blank Screen Then Crashes

Open iBooks and the screen is black as below. After a few seconds iBooks crashes out. If I restart the iphone then iBooks works again until I lock the iPhone and then try and reopen the app where it proceeds to display a blank screen and crash again.

I've tried a full restore using a backup and this made no difference.

It has only been doing this since the 22nd August 15 worked fine up until then.

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4, iTunes 12.2.1.16 on Widnows 8.1

I am having the same issue, but grey screen on an iPad Air 2. I've tried everything I can think of, but a reboot is my only option.

I Have tried a full restore to factory settings and it still happens. Although like yours it's now a grey screen.

also a litany of other bugs:

can't open safari when I click links in emails

accessing settings>Touch ID hangs and crashes when entering four digit code

accessing icloud in settings hangs and crashes

safari hangs and crashes

all of this is resolved by a reset, but comes back again

again numerous factory resets including loading fresh copies of 8.4.1 makes no difference.

Now that you mention it, I've noticed the links not opening out of e-mail as well. I hadn't considered them connected, but we can add it on the 8.4.1 has issues pile.
