Q: iCloud backup not working
I have an iPhone 6 Plus and unable to back up to iCloud. It tries but then I get a message that read: " iTunes could not back up to iPhone because the iPhone disconnected" , but it is still connected. When I try to back up from my iPhone , it starts but then I get a message " The last backup could not be completed." It shows that the last back: 8/20/15 @ 9:21 AM
I called a friend who also has an iPhone 6 Plus and ask her to try to backup to iCloud and she got the same message I got.
I am able to backup my iPhone 6 Plus through iTunes to my computer.
* I Am able to back up my iPad to iCloud with no problems.
Anyone else having this problem? If so any advice how to fix it ? Thanks Nancy

Hello
Sorry to hear that you are having issue with backing up to iCloud. Let's see if we can get it working or you.
I would start with taking a look at the article below to go over some general troubleshooting. One thing to keep in mind is if you are experiencing an issue with backing up, start with looking at the system status. It will give you the current status as well as a few days previous of any downtime or current issues that Apple Services may be having. If you have looked over these troubleshooting options and are still experiencing issues, then you you will need to contact Apple Support for further assistance.

I see a message that iCloud Backup is unable to access the account
You might need to update your password. Tap Settings > iCloud, and make sure you’re signed in with your current password. If you still see the message, check the system status to see if iCloud Backup has known issues.
A message says my backup could not be completed
- Make sure you're connected to the Internet with Wi-Fi.
- If possible, try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network.
- See if you have enough iCloud storage for your backup, and get more storage if you need it.
- If you need more help, contact Apple Support.
Take care
