Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
From your post I understand that when you open Mail on your iPad it is appearing completely blank. To start troubleshooting this issue I suggest forcing the Mail app to close and then restart your iPad. If the issue persists after that, then I suggest deleting and then adding your email account from the iPad.
How to restart
- Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
- Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
- After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
- Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
- Swipe left to find the app you want to close.
- Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.
Force an app to close in iOS - Apple Support
- Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Tap the email account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Add your account again.
