How do i make print darker in Preview?

Hello,

How can I make printouts darker in Preview so that all text and lines appear as they do on the screen. There must be a way of doing this.

sure. If you're opening a document in preview, go to tools then "Adjust colour" and "Adjust size"

This appears to work only for image files. I have a PDF of a scan that is light. PDF files do not have this option available.

Any know way to darken PDF scan?
