Ipad has went into restore mode and will not connect to computer to restore

My Ipad 2 was updating and went into restore mode showing on the screen that it needs to be hooked into a computer. When plugged into a computer, it will not do anything. Any suggestions?

I see from your post that your iPad is in recovery mode, and when you plugged it in to your computer iTunes will not recognize it for it to be restored. For support for this issue where the iPad isn't appearing in iTunes, please follow the article below that pertains to the computer you have. Once you get the iPad to appear in iTunes you can then start to restore it.
