Help! Podcast has been on iTunes for years, but has just disappeared.

Hi, my podcast is the "Castle of Horror" at https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/castle-of-horror-podcast/id447295500?mt=2-- -- for some reason it seems to have disappeared. I haven't received a message with a reason, though, it's just suddenly not there. I also looked at the suggested possible reasons Apple laid out, but I don't think I've run foul of them.

The RSS feed is http://recordings.talkshoe.com/rss99734.xml. We post a new show usually once or twice a week. These are panel discussions on movies and interviews with writers, generally.

Can anyone tell me if there's something wrong with the feed?

I can see no obvious reason why it should have been removed. There appear to be no technical problems; I haven't listened to any of it but I assume that the episodes contain no strong or sexual language - if they do you must flag them as 'explicit'. You could try contacting Support, though I can't promise how helpful they will be. Go to https://itunespodcasts.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and click the disclosure triangle at the right of the 'Choose a topic' field - choose 'Re-activate Feed' and proceed from there.

Roger,

Thanks very much! I've done that and entered the request to re-activate, and received a form email (where they say they'll try to get back to me in 3-5 days.) Does that actually happen or is this a black hole?

Would it be worth re-submitting the show from scratch, or do you think I should give them a few days to respond?

This method of contacting Support is new, and I can't really say how it will proceed, but I would have thought that they would contact you again as you have had a response. If you can bear to wait it out I should see what they can do - if all else fails you can try re-submitting though you may fall over a bug in the system which will tell you that the feed has already been submitted; to get round that you would have to change the title slightly.
