can't change audio instrument of the track on the fly! what kind of program is this??! please give the whole thing back to hamburg, thx!

No problems here with any of the 'issues' you have mentioned..
I suspect its going to be something related to your system rather than an issue with LPX itself....
Here is a screenshot of a couple of Waves Plugins working fine in 10.2.... In case you are not convinced!
To add to your pain, I added the plugins when playback was happening and also changed the Software Instrument when playback was happening too from ES2 to Diva and then to Alchemy to test...... and as the screenshot shows.. no problems in doing so.
Do you have anything like 32Lives, Novation's Automap or Auganizer installed?
If so uninstall and if that fixes things... check for updates to these apps... or stop using them (Typically these always seem to need updates when Logic is updated..)
