Welcome to the Apple Community.

It sounds like his content has already been copied into your library, in which case turning home sharing off won't make any difference, you will need to delete all his music manually from your library.

My Daughter turned on Home Share and all her music went into my library. I deleted a couple of songs and they have disappeared from hers as well now. How do I get rid of her stuff from my library without it affecting hers?

This all came about because she had tried to get her iPod to sync by logging onto my Mac using the guest log in and her apple id but because I had used my apple id a few days before it would not let her download anything from the cloud due to the 90 days access

This is so frustrating
