Does Final Cut Pro x output flv files?

MY .mov file is a little too big for easy streaming. I understand the .flv file is used on YouTube. I don't choose to use YT because they are too UGC and will never pay royalties. FCP X COMP 4 does have a publish to YouTube option but I don't think it's a .flv file which is Adobe, Apples rival. do I need a converter to go .mov to .flv? And if so which one? TYVM J4

It doesn't have to be, You can output a mov of mp4 file in H.264 codec that is comparable to an FLV. Just use one of the web video presets in Compressor (or FCP if you have it).

But to your question: no; Compressor does not output FLV.
