iphone is receiving all of my emails, macbook pro has ceased getting my emails

For a week or so I've noticed that not all of my emails are getting to my macbook pro.

They all do show up on my iphone and they are all visible on icloud.

Today, none of my e-mails have come to my macbook pro.

(As an aside, my macbook pro is always last to get the emails.

Requesting them downloaded does not even get them at times

after my iphone has had them for many minutes.)

Thought the issue might have been how I responded to emails on my Watch.

I had been 'dismissing', switched to 'mark as unread'.

That did not help get the emails to my macbook.

Thank you for suggesting that diagnostic.

Mail Connection Doctor ...

At the top ---

Green Dot: "Mail was able to connect to the Internet."

Below that ---

Green Dot, iCloud IMAP, "Connection and login to server succeeded."

However, then tried to get new mail.

Got the 'bonk' response and no new email.

There are now perhaps a dozen recent emails on my iPhone that have not gotten to my macbook pro.

It is a solid sequential block of missing emails.

Other Internet applications on macbook work fine.

Tried it again, same results.

I turned on the logging. No obvious errors reported (but it is not understandable to me). Like:
