When attempting to play shared library on Ipod touch, my library title shows up on the Ipod when I select sharing. There is a clock dial that stops at 6 o'clock,an does not proceed any further. Menu will not allow me to select my library. Please advise?

The computer storing my library is running windows 10, The Itunes version is 12.2.2.25.
The Ipod is running iOS 6.1.6
Please advise of options for these versions of Itunes software.
