Q: Boot camp iso not recognized

Boot Camp in Yosemite 10.10.5 won't let me use the windows 10 iso found in the microsoft website. It says "Boot camp only supports windows 7 or later...". How to update bootcamp to from version 5.1.4 to 6.0?

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), Late 2014 edition mac mini

Please download a new 64-bit Only ISO from Microsoft using your Product Key. You currently have a combined 32-bit and 64-bit ISO.

Yeah I know i have the 64-bit version its just that my Boot Camp in OS X is not fully updated yet to 6.0 . It's stuck on 5.1.4. My question is what do i have to do to update it. And I have updated my system to Yosemite 10.10.5 and there are no available updates in the app store

Your BC Assistant will stay at 5.1.4, but the BC drivers package will be BC6. You can check that in Bootcamp.xml.

Im doing a full new install onto my hard drive so thats why i need boot camp to work on os x

Run software update to get the BCA version appropriate for your Mac and OSX version. BCA and BC drivers are two different parts and their version numbers do not need to match.
