Viruses for Mac do not exist. Please specify why do you think you got a virus on your machine? Do you see random pop ups or redirects while using web browser? If yes I assume you have adware. Follow the instructions on this web page in order to manually remove adware from your mac: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203987

You may also find adware removal guide on this page http://www.thesafemac.com/arg-identification/

If you do not want to remove adware manually use this anti malware tool in order to scan and remove it: https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/mac/?utm_source=blog&utm_medium=social

Download, open dmg file , and run it by clicking “Scan for Adware” button to remove adware.

Once done, quit the application and restart your mac.

First, never use any kind of "anti-virus" or "anti-malware" software on a Mac. That's how you create problems, not how you solve them.

You can't be infected with malware merely by visiting a website. If that's all you did, there's no reason to be concerned.

It's best to describe the problem, if you have one, in as much relevant detail as possible, rather than what you think is causing it or how you think it should be solved.

Do not download or install anything to check for the existence of a "virus" or that claims the ability to eradicate it. Doing so is almost certain to cause unrelated problems, or exacerbate existing ones. This site is littered with such tales of misery.

Describe what you are experiencing that led to that suspicion. Provide as much detail as you can.
