Assign distinct colors to line graphs with more than 7 series items

I am creating line graphs with more than 7 series in Numbers 3.5.3 . The eight item in the series is assigned the same color as the first one by Numbers! Attempting to change the eighth one to a different color also changes the first one to the same color!! Any workarounds to this is greatly appreciated as we need to assign distinct colors to each of the series. Thanks

Found a workaround. Export to Numbers 09, click on graph to highlight the different series in the corresponding Table, change colors by clicking on each series in the Table and assigning colors as desired. Apparently this is a bug in Numbers in 3.x.x.

Found an error in the main post. Every 7th item is assigned the same as the first one, not the eight item. So colors repeat every 7th series item.
