09 Mac monitor developed multiple horizontal lines, suggestions?

My 2009 Mac desktop using OSx Yosemite [updated] has developed horizontal lines on monitor. Some flicker. Have reset NVRAM chip per support rec. Recommendations? thanks.

Likely a failed or failing GPU, nothing we can do on a forum except recommend taking it in for service.If you have AppleCare or the machine is under warranty Apple will pay for the repairs. Take it to your local Apple Store (2011 or later) or AASP if older 2010 or earlier.
