how do i export imovie on to flash drive?

My USB holds 5 GB and the movie I created in IMovie is only 319.2 MB. I am trying to export the video to the flash drive and it will not let me even though the flash drive is empty.

I have also tried exporting the video as a file and then attempting to move the file on to the flash drive and it won't let me do that.

I have tried multiple flash drives all with the same amount of storage and nothing has worked. Can anyone PLEASE help me? 😕

You mean you can't drag and drop an ordinary file from your mac onto your flash drive? Can you put any files on it with the Finder? What happens when you try?
