purchased songs appear in itunes library but only on my phone within recently added and not the phone's library

I've recently bought some albums from the itunes store, these have gone onto my itunes library fine however when i sync to my phone they don't appear in the phone's library, they are only within recently added. how can i get them to show in the list on my phone's library?
