I Just bought a refurbished iPad 4 from Tumbledeal, but I don't remember Apple making an iPad 4. It's still the same size as the original iPad but has the smaller 8 bit connector like the iPad air.

Apple created a fourth generation iPad, but refers to it as the iPad with Retina Display instead of the iPad 4.
