I don't know if it is the most inexpensive but is what I would do. If you are in the U.S., $109 https://www.apple.com/support/iphone/repair/screen-damage/

If you have Apple replace it for $109 your phone will continue to work and will be covered by the original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.
If you pay someone else to replace it (probably for less money) your warranty is void, and Apple will never provide any service for it, ever. And your touch ID will no longer work.
Those are your choices.
Other than not breaking the Screen in the first place (Hehe), it seems that the $109.00 Fee would be the best way to go about it.
If you have AppleCare+ it is $79.00
Third-Party Repairs are always an option but as someone has already mentioned, it will void your warranty.
