How can I convert a pdf to a rtf file?

I am using OSX 7.5 with a 2009 Mimi

I do not have Office for Mac. Does Automator have such a function in it?

Mac mini, iOS 7.1.2

If you do not find an easy solution:

open the pdf file, preview menu Edit choose Select All. Then open TextEdit, open a new file, paste, save as rtf.
