Auto lock limited choice on iPad mini

The Auto lock function on my iPad mini only allows me to choose 1, 2 or 5 minutes. My kids iPads have a much wider choice including 'Never'.

Whay do I not have this choice ?

I use the iPad for navigation and find it really annoying that I have to keep entering the unlock code.

Can I change this ?
