very important imovie project disappeared after computer crashing

so I was working on Imovie on a very important project when the screen of my computer frose

i couldn't move my mouse or doe any thing else just like if someone had paused it

so i turn of my computer and then i turn it back on and when i opened imovie the project had disappeared

i searched a lot every where but i can't find it

just like if that project had never existed

and some event where i can import the video disappeared to but when i want to import some video on an event i can see there are still here but i can't open them

this project is very important for me i would be very very very very happy if someone helps me to find it
