When setting up a video editing station, is the Eizo 318-4K (31 inch) worth considering?

The Eizo 318-4K color correct monitor gets rave reviews in the world of still images. I'm told that Pixar has hundreds of Eizo-brand monitors. Intriguing if one is considering investing in a high quality monitor to last for years of color grading. It doesn't have an SDI input, but something called a "Display Port". Could it work well with a Mac Pro (2013) and FCPX? Versus say a Flanders broadcast monitor?

Thanks.

Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

Very highly regarded by colorists. Denver Riddle showed it off during his Color Finale demo at NAB.
