Why won't my MacBookAir turn on?

What happens when you try? If you have just a blank, black screen or don't hear the startup chime then you have a hardware failure. Please make an appointment at the Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar and take it in for service. If you are not in the USA or cannot set up an appointment this way, then contact your local Apple Store directly. If the computer does start but won't boot, then describe exactly what does happen.
