Ipod (5th) locked 24 mio minutes | date reset

Hi everybody,

My daughters Ipod is locked for 24+ mio minutes.... and it seems (based on what I see on the locked ipod screen) that the time / date is reset as well.

See told me she never put the wrong code in it, and this happended after she charged the ipod for a couple of days.

I found different solutions, mainly pointing towards a complete restore, but I was wondering whether it's possible to do something else, as she will lose all her date with a full restore I guess (she didn't connect it to her imac).

Any solutions out there which might help ?
