How do I unmute the audio on Apple TV?

I accidentally set a jug of water on my Apple TV remote and now I can't seem to get the audio to come on. I can activate or deactivate closed captioning and the functions but seem to get the audio back. The remote does not seem to damaged in any way.

There isn't actually a mute option.

Are the menu sounds also mute.

I figured out that the issue was with the mute controls on my AV Receiver.
