It would be great to have Treemap, Sunburst, Waterfall, Histogram, Pareto, and Box-and-Whiskers charts in Numbers

It would be great if Numbers had treemap, sunburst, waterfall, histogram, pareto, and box-and-whisker charts, just like Office 2016 (for Windows). Note that Office 2016 (for Mac) don't have those charts and Mac users are forced to use either expensive programs or cumbersome programs to create such charts.

I would love to create charts pertaining to allocation of Toronto's budget using a treemap or sunburst chart for example.

Thank you.

Yes, Microsoft Excel 2016 (for Windows only) has those features. When sent over to Microsoft Excel 2016 (for Mac), those features disappear. How would a Mac user be able to create Excel-compatible treemaps, sunburst diagrams, etc. easily without spending hundreds of dollars or complex software coding?

Yes, I have already made feedback to Apple as well.

Hi PT,

This is the Numbers for Mac forum (not Microsoft) and you have asked six questions.

treemap, sunburst, waterfall, histogram, pareto, and box-and-whisker charts,

Let's start with question 6.

Re: How to make stork table in Mac numbers

(The spelling is wrong. Not 'stork table'. Read 'stock table' or 'candlestick chart')

Try that, then we can try to answer the other five questions 🙂.

Regards,

Ian.
