Why is my Facebook ac stating no internet connection or network error and giving me a blank page. I definitely have got wifi connection. Help please?

MY face book account is showing blank pages and stating no internet connection and network error, but I definitely do have good wifi connection. Safari is working. Help please?

iPad 2, iOS 8.4.1

Hi

Delete Facebook App then Add back again in Apps store .

Are all your apps up to date.

Yes

my apps are up to date. Just went to delete fb icon and it warns that it will delete data too. Is this correct?
