Help.... can't figure out how to charge keypad keyboard

I've tried googling, youtube etc to figure out how to charge my apple keypad keyboard. Everything says to replace batteries, but it doesn't have a place for batteries. All it has is usb slots on both sides of keyboard. I only have 17% life left on it and am getting extremely frustrated! Could someone please help.
