Update safari to at least 6?!

How do I update safari browser on iPad Air 2 and iPhone 5c and I do not have a MAC or desktop? Other devices in the home are iPhone 6 plus and android tablet from Verizon. All 3 Apple devices on iOS 8.4. Safari has been crap since the update. But it did work. I tried to get into google add ons for drive, etc and got a message that my browser was too old. TheN went to see about safari extensions and Apple store says my device isn't compatible- on all devices.

please set help!

You cannot update safari on any iOS device.

It is part of iOS and only gets updated when the operating system gets updated.

Until iOS9 comes out your only other option would be to look for a third party browser. I use Atomic, but there are lots more out there. You can read reviews and choose one that looks good to you.

I've found, given the general quirks of mobile safari, it's always good to have another browser option. (Just like I do on my PC)
