I accidentally dropped my magic mouse and the glass smashed! Also, I have noticed that it doesn't have as strong a connection and doesn't scroll smoothly. 😟 Can the glass be replaced? I'm very grateful for any ideas!
Apologies. Have tried to enlarge on the answer above by editing it, but the system would not let me. The casing cannot be exchanged, you would need to buy a new mouse. A change in the way it works following such an event is almost certainly caused by the event.
Do you mean you dropped a trackpad. There is no glass in a magic mouse. What kind of trackpad is it and what machine do you have?
Or do you mean the casing of the mouse which is made from Polycarbonate, a resin?
