Hi All, I was using win 7 on boot camp and upgraded to win 10 and on my mac os I downloaded Boot Camp Support 6 but while i am trying to install, first it says windows stopped then it gives an error and there is writtig nothing. How can i fix this problem ? Thank you so much..

I succesfully installed bootcamp 6 on my win10. I didn't like new volume +- button sound 🙂 and brightness +- icon.
I have another problem I cant set my keyboard back light.. when i press keyboard +- buttons it shows an error icon.
Sensor sets it automatically but i cant set manually with buttons. how can i fix this ?
Try using the Fn key along with the designated brightness keys.
Fn key allows me using F5 and F6 functions. I dont use Fn for volum up/down etc. I doesnt allow me manually set the keyboard backlit.
I have the exact same problem, however, I upgraded a Windows 7 boot camp install in US English. After upgrade, even attempting to install the latest downloaded drivers by hand off of USB -- I get the exact same empty "error" message as acakan did.
As a result I hand installed the Intel chipset drivers and touchpad, but otherwise, I still have a broken Windows 10 experience (even Device Manager shows some "Unknown USB Bluetooth" device, keyboard features don't work, etc.).
Any tips would be great as it appears Apple's Boot Camp release is far from ready for prime time it seems.

In Device Manager, right-click on the unknown devices.
You can either delete these and scan for hardware changes, or, update driver and point to the exact driver in the Bootcamp folder.
Appreciate the thought, but auto re-detect doesn't fix it and I have no idea what driver in the Boot Camp 6 collection it actually is (plus there are plenty of other drivers not loaded due to the Boot Camp 6 "error" dump I'm hoping to get working). Thanks though.
Can you post a screen shot of Device Manager with all unknown devices and devices in 'Other' category shown?

There is a SonicWALL firewall in Network adapters. Is this an application that you installed manually in W7 prior to the W10 upgrade?
Yes, VPN client application (version compat with Windows 8.1, plus other desktop applications installed as well in the original Windows 7 install).
Can you post the structure of files on your USB? Please copy the contents of the USB to a known folder on the Windows side, eject and disconnect the USB, and run setup.exe from the Bootcamp folder on your hard disk. Please post any error messages you see.
Same result as running from thumbdrive (screenshots above). I was able to run the Bluetooth driver from the $WinPEDriver$ folder to clear the device manager entry for the unknown usb bluetooth device -- however, keyboard still has zero functions, no boot camp applet, etc.
As for file structure from the download (done twice):
$WinPEDriver$ folder ...
BootCamp folder ...
BootCamp > Drivers folder ...
BootCamp > Drivers > Apple folder ...

Run AppleKeyboardInstaller64.exe manually with Administrative privileges and computability set to W7/W8 and test your Keyboard. Do the same with Bootcamp.msi.
Keyboard installs normally, as well in compatibility mode (still no audio volume, brightness, etc. of function keys).
Bootcamp.msi has to be run from Setup.exe which even in Win8 & Admin fails identically.
