APPS WONT UPDATE

Thanks to a guy called D.Cohen he suggested these steps and they've worked for me on same problem this morning:

1. Restart your device.
2. Sign out and back in to your account.
3. Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on it.

• Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
• Press and hold on the Home button
• Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

Try this:

1: Launch the Settings app, scroll down and tap on iTunes & App Store.

2: Tap on your Apple ID, and select the ‘Sign Out’ option from the pop-up menu.

3: Type the password to your Apple ID to login again.

Many people are having the same issue as you, a restart solves the problem for a short time but even then download speeds are extremely slow. Can you confirm if that is the case for you? Also, I'd be interested if a restart fixes your issue for good, or if like many people, sometime after the problems return.
