I just received a dialog box saying, "Purchase of this item is not currently available. This item is being modified. Please try again later." I tried 3 different books from newly published to one published in 2004 with the same results.

Were having the same problem, however this happen to one book. We tried purchasing another book and the transaction completed without any problem.

Thanks for your reply. I'm relieved to find out it's not just our three computers having the problem. It looks like we'll just wait it out until the store finishes modifying.

I failed to mention that my sister-in-law was able to download the same
book onto her iPad and I'm still having the same problem on my iPad....go figure.

I'm having the same issue. I've tried multiple books at multiple times since yesterday - with no luck. I'm going on vacation and wanted to download a whole series. When will this issue be resolved?
