Limiter in 10.2 loud and distorted

Since upgrading to 10.2 I’ve noticed that all tracks I’ve recorded prior to the update that utilize the built-in limiter are all extremely loud and distorted. Is there a fix or do I need to go through and readjust the settings on every track, which would be very time consuming.

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

It is always a very bad idea to update anything in the middle of a project. Issues like this are why.

Now, one thing to try is trashing the pref files and re-launch. Preference Manager (free from Digital Rebellion) will do this quickly, easily, safely for you.
