Q: Leftover file from the old account

I was able to change the name successfully, however I find that the old name's "account" is still in my folders. Should I delete it? It has a "Library" file in it and wasn't sure if it's safe to delete.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

    The same thing happened to me using OS X El Capitan and I'd like to know if it is safe to delete that file without penalty.  Someone please help! Thank you!
