effects not loading

The effects in my browser look to be "offline". A warning triangle appears whenever I place the cursor over a required effect. Not sure what is happening but it's the same problem with FCP native effects ie: Blur and third party ones. This has just started happening.Not sure if there were any updates that may have affected the system but FCP hasn't been upgrade recently. See screen grab.

I'm using FCP X Ver 10.2.1 on a Macbook Pro Retina 13" with OS X Yosemite 10.10.5, 2.8 Ghz Intel Core i5, 8Gb memory.
