keychain password of old harddrive

Recently my hard drive crashed. fortunately I was able to revive the hard drive and access it via external hard drive, but only to get documents.

I have now purchased a new hard drive and I want to transfer my old saved password from chrome, safari/keychains and 1password.

Is there a way I can transfer passwords and usernames from my old hard drive to my new hard drive.

things I have tried:

I tried to load keychain from the old hard drive but the info does not come up.

I tried loading my old hard drive but there is damage sector that will not allow me to do so and thus my mac doesnt load from my old drive.

any help or advice is greatly appreciated...

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
