why won't pages open?
I recently updated my mac about a week ago and Pages is now not responding. I cannot open the app or open documents sent to me. I checked the app store and it says that their is no new update needed.

What version of OS X, and what version of Pages are you running? Is Pages installed in the Applications folder? Do you get a dialog or crash log when Pages does not respond?
I am running the latest version of OS X Yosemite. Pages is in the application folder and will not open in that or in my dock. Nothing shows up when I click pages/
Open a Finder window, and in the list of FAVORITES, click on Applications. Look for the following two icons. The blue inkwell Pages may be in an iWork '09 sub-folder. When you find them, control-click on each, and from the contextual pop-up menu, select Get Info. Tell me the Pages version for each if you have both.
It says I have Pages version 5.5.3
If you double-click the Pages v5.5.3 icon in Applications, what happens? Any dialogs or messages?
No dialogs or messages pull up. It looks like the app attempts to open but nothing happens.
