how delete app updates for apps already deleted

Restart your device then see if those updates still appear in the App Store > Updates.

They shouldn't even be showing up. I had one that wanted my husband's Apple ID password and it just wouldn't take it, so I deleted the app and the update went away....

Are you certain you deleted the apps?

Try closing the App Store app by double-clicking the Home key and swiping up on the App Store thumbnail, then open it again and check to see if it has gone away. If it still is showing, go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, click on your Apple ID, sign out, then sign back in. Check your App Store again to see if that resolved the issue.

Also go to settings> general> usage> storage> manage storage> see if the app is still listed. If it is delete it from there.
