error code 53

When I tried to update my phone to iOS 8.4.1 my phone was not able to update. iTunes gave me the error code 53. I was on the phone with Apple for 3 hours and tried every troubleshooting step that they had and it still didn't fix my problem. What should I do next. Will Apple replace my phone for free or will I have to pay for a whole new phone itself.
