Apple TV not working after upgrade to OS 10.10.5
I can't say for sure, but I can't get any connection to my Apple TV since the OS update a few days ago. But I don't use it every day, so don't know for sure.
When iTunes is running, and Apple TV powered and plugged in and WiFi active, it will give an "Invalid Format" message on the TV, or it will flicker the proper Apple TV background on and off like a bad connection. Cables are good, I switched HDMI channels, etc.
It is a new AppleTV device as of last Dec. It had a similar erratic behavior a couple months ago and trip to the genius bar fixed it after the tech upgraded the firmware or something on the device.
Any help appreciated before I try the Apple Support again.
