My lightning adapter no longer reliably charges my iPhone 5s

My lightning adapter no longer reliably charges my iPhone 5S as it no longer fits the port on the phone securely.

I Have tried a number of different cables to no effect. The problem seems to be the phone itself

Any suggestions?

Good day bazza 1,

Based on your iPhone not charging with any of several cables and the cables not fitting correctly into the Lightning connector, it appears your iPhone needs to be serviced. The following link should help you get started with the process and has links with additional information on topics such as warranty and service pricing, battery replacement, and express replacement service.
