Can't see the text on top of screen as too faint

a all the icons are so faint I can't see them, I couldn't see a box to enter details too. Any help

In SystemPreferences->Accesability:

Display: check "increase contrast"

In SystemPreferences->General:

Try "Use dark menubar and Dock"


When everything is too small, characters and so on, you can change the screen resolution:

in SystemPreferences->Displays->DisplayTab:

click "scaled" and choose one step lower below the one now highlighted.
