Follow these instructions:


PHOTO IMPORT IOS TO MAC/PC


If you are running OS X Yosemite, you would be importing to Photos instead of iPhoto, but the procedure should be the same as long as you have Photos preferences set up correctly.

Hi Esther,


First, you need to make sure the home video is in a format that iTunes supports. You should be able to check this by looking at the file extension -- the most common supported extensions are .mov, .mp4 and .m4v. If the video file has one of these extensions, you can import it into iTunes in a number of ways, e.g.


• Drag and drop the file into an open iTunes window

• In iTunes, go to File > Add to Library, and navigate to the video file


If the video file has a different extension, you'll need to convert it first. Post a follow-up message so we can give you more specific instructions.


Once the video is in iTunes, you can sync it with the iPad by whatever method you normally use. If you're new to this, this article provides a quick overview:
