There is an error message of "Your payment method has been declined" When trying to confirm Payment Method. What do I do?

When I try to install an app there is an error message being "Payment method declined."


What should I do to solve this?

iPhone 4S, iOS 8.3

It can happen because your payment method isn't being accepted due to your bank not giving authorisation


it can also happen if you have a pending purchase.


Try to download a free app if it shows up regardless of it being free, then the issue is most likely the one where you have a pending purchase that the payment hasn't gone through. And you just have to pay for that specific one using any other method besides that card and everything will be working again.
