What happened to iTunes Match and why did I just pay £21.99, when it no longer works?

Thank you Carolyn Samit for the link but iTunes Match now seems to do a fraction of what it previously did and even that little bit won't work, all I can say to anyone thinking of subscribing for another year is don't waste your money, at the moment the service is unusable, at least if you are running iTunes 12.2.2 on windows 8.
